When I create graphics, I usually have them set at 76 ppi (or dpi I guess), because that is what Mac's use. I know Window's uses 96, but I was wondering if I set the ppi higher, say to 100, would the graphic still appear the same on both machines - 76 and 96, respectively - regardless of what I have the image set at?

dpi is more a matter of printing.
Using 72 dpi is what I allways have been told to use for web-graphics. Try also to increase/decrease the number of colors displayed at your monitor, to find the colors you need. Different monitors and graphiccards makes it difficult to be sure of the output on the users screen. Steffen |
