PNG graphic format - Viewing PNG files with various browsers...
Is it still not possible to view PNG files with transparency within Internet Explorer? Does transparency work with PNGs in other browsers?
Is there any way to make transparent PNGs work within IE? Cheers. ![]() |

Thanks edwinbrains.
![]() Can I assume that PNG images work on other browsers, such as Safari and Firebird, then? Thanks. ![]() |

As far as I'm aware they work fine, but if they don't, searching Google should probably reveal any problems that may exist. I can tell you though that Firefox supports PNG images perfectly.

I have made sites with PNG with single transparencies that work fine in IE, dunno about other types of transparencies tho.
