point me in the right direction

I've built web sites before using html, basic javascript and css. Now I got approached by a client who wants me to build her a site but she wants to be able to update/change some pictures and text. I've never dealt with that before so I don't even know where to start to look to solve this. I don't have any knowledge about php. So where do I start looking? What do I have to look for? Is there a script out there?

Search for CMS -> hotscripts is one place to try. Alot of the ready-made packages are really easy to install - you can even demo quite a few at OpensourceCMS.
Many too require little or no programming skill - though it would be recommended that you did learn.
PHP freaks has some good tutorials, as does sitepoint and phpbuilder and our very own devshed.
You could then download Apache, PHPand MYSQL, search for WAMP -> there are installers to install all packages.
