prioblem with <pre> tag

Hi,

I am using <pre> tag in the following way.

<pre style='line-height:105%;font-size:12pt;font-family:Times New Roman;'>
Application Deadlines
Fall semester June 1
Spring semester October 15
Summer semester March 1
</pre>

When I am viewing this page in Internet explorer and Mozilla web browser I am getting the result in different way. I am not getting the same result which I have written in the HTML file. I am getting some more spaces. Is there a way to overcome this problem? I have to use same font-size and font-family attributes mentioned in the style because I am using this same font for the remaining page.

Thanks,
Sridhar.

Hi,

I don't know why it is not happening in my browsers. I will send the link to the html page in which I have written this code. Please check that if possible.

Thanks,

Use style sheets.
