Unhappy Problems loading photos

For all of you designers out there (& anybody else)..

I am having a major issue and I thought that maybe I could get a bit of advice. I am stuck in a VERY sticky spot, and I don't know how to get out of it.

There is a website that I am getting contant complaints about from the owner. He says that on http://www.phatpig.com/photos.html, if you click on the "photo gallery" link, the music will play, but the photos never load. I have tried this page out on 4 different computers running at different speeds, and I cannot seem to re-create the error.

Also, on any of the consecutive pages like http://www.phatpig.com/index_home.html, if you click on the 'jukebox' link, he says that it never plays...that it just keeps 'buffering'.

I have put my heart and soul into this website, and have worked many days (and nights) on this. Not to mention, putting just about everything else in my life on hold so that this project had my undivided attention!

This guy calls me almost every day with a complaint, and it is breaking my heart! I have left family functions, refused invitations to go out and passed on other opportunities because he has needed me to change something or create something new for the site.

I am starting to feel as if he has nothing better to do but to pick apart my work...

So...

If you wouldn't mind taking a couple of minutes to check these two things out, and let me know if you see the same things that he does, I would appreciate it more then you know!

It would put my mind at ease to know if these are issues that sincerely need to be addressed, or if I am just stressing out purely for the benefit of his entertainment.

One way or another, I would really like to know.

Any and all of your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks you guys, in advance for all of your help.

btw...I am still working on the resolution issue. Right now it's set for only 1024x768.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems.

I guess I see what thie owner means...
I get the music loading, mediaplayer, but the images are all corrupted.. just a bunch of minced up blocks of nothing.. abstract art at it's best

As for the jukebox, the files seem to be playlists and not the actual mp3's?
I could be wrong, I don't use winamp that much, but the extensions are .m3u so this leads me to believe it is a playlist..not an mp3.

WOW! Thank you all so much for your responses! I just checked the post for the first time, not expecting to have too much feedback, and what a great suprise! You guys ROCK!

I really appreciate all of your thoughts, tests, and constructive criticism. Being somewhat of a novice, it really helps to get other designers/"web peoples'" points of view.

And where else, besides from strangers, can you get the truth?

Smile

OOps, submitted that one before I was able to finish....

Gran and Aronya: Thanks for checking .... Now I know I am not going crazy! (He actually had me wondering for a moment!) - What a punk!

Webguy: I truly appreciate and respect your honesty, and I thank you for it. You have no idea how much the constructive criticism helps with my development as an artist.

Thank You all for taking the time...

Take Care..
