QUESTION: About subdomains......

I have the domain name : AllProEntertainment.com

How would I set up a subdomain called :

Name.AllProEntertainment.com

Where would the index.html file need to be located and other basic info like that?

You should really check with you host if you can create subdomains.
If you can there is probably a control paneltype option to point a subdomain to a certain folder or IP address - as you wish.

ok he is right, you need to either look in your CP (Cpanel, Plesk, or other) for subdomains or contact your admin. Then heres how it generally works for subdomains.

1.) You create the subdomain

2.) It creates a host header for that subdomain (that of which if your hosting provider doesnt support it can be created your self if they allow host headers [which will intern create a {pirated} subdomain ]) or if on apache will edit some config files for your site <virtual>

3.)It will create a directory in your root crap.mydomain.com = /crap

4.) Index will go in this folder

5.) this folder can also be accessed from your site unless you do some editing to your server example crap.mydomain.com = mydomain.com/crap/ too!

6.) if you want to do a neat little trick for exmample 90% of the sites dont allow http://www.crap.mydomain.com only http://crap.mydomain.com you can edit your host headers in iis or some other info in apache, i will explain how to do this for host headers. Go to host headers and enter www. this will tell it that www. can be added to anything that calls your site basically example my site, i needed a new ww extension for my secure version (not up yet) so i created 2 host headers ww3.coldfusionzone.com and ww3 so that if people type in that domain it goes secure :P!

So to create a pirated sub domain, you would do subdomain.mydomain.com in your host header plus www. if you want them to beable to type www.subdomain.mydomain.com otherwise it will just be subdomain.mydomain.com
