Screen Shots in Different Browsers
Hey everyone, how are you all?
Not sure how I would do this, but I want to build an app similar to browsercam native to my computer, win xp. (For those of you who don't know browsercam takes screen shots in various browsers/platforms.) I'd imagine I'd have to use window shell commands (executed within php), my knowledge of windows is limited, but as always, I can learn. May someone guide me into the right direction? Also, this may be outside the scope of "Web Design Help", if a moderator feels it's necessary to move this thread feel free to do so. ![]()

Is it just me or is this really insecure?
I registered my computer as a screenshot factory, and a number of computers keep connecting to mine. Do you know if I could easily do an uninstall? I know nothing about networking and this is scaring me, slightly. |

I don't know the details of joining their network. You couldn't get the software without joining it?
If you've got a router, you could restrict which ports you allow incoming connections from. |
