Search Engine Facility for website on CD Rom

Hey all,

I am currently developing a training course that is to be stored on both, a web server and a CD Rom.

I have found Atomz Express Site search to be a good tool for the online course, however I am looking for a search facility that will work on the CD Rom (i.e. offline).

Has anybody any recommendations for obtaining this facility offline (on CD)? Would like to hear anyone's experiences on something similar. Thanks in advance,

J

I don't think you're going to be able to do it in any sort of conventional way. If you're running off a CD-ROM and there's no web server involved then it simply won't work. Sure, you could probably cobble something together with JS that behaves sort of like a search, but it wouldn't be easy and it wouldn't be good.
