thumbnail wmv`s to play in same player....How?

Hi, newbie here so first off, hallo.
Got a problem here. I want to have thumbnail images with links to small wmv. files which I want, whichever one is clicked, to play in the same (main) window. Anyone know the code for this?
I guess it´s a case of targetting the wmv.`s at the player position on the page but no idea where to start and I´m not using frames (in case that makes a difference with defining the target).

Gratefull for any help or pointers to a website with more info on this subject.

could u not take a screenshot of the video at the frame u want
then put the screenshot on ur site and make a link so when its clicked a video will play?
