Welcome to DevShed Forums, rameezzahid.

w3schools.com is more trouble than it's worth. (And don't let the "W3" in the name fool you -- it has nothing to do with the W3C standards organization.) I recommend you read this: W3Fools: A W3Schools Intervention

Web design is a quite vast domain. Be specific you want help regarding what. For example for you may go through w3c School for tutorials in all web development technologies. can refer usability.gov, useit.com for usability and other web design issues.
CSS Mania for color and other design issues.

Website Design can be understood by practicing on your computer and reading HTML/CSS ebooks.

Instead of doing online try out any good web design academy, because you will get a good help there for your doubts.

Fortunately, it isn’t required to go to design school in order to be a graphic designer. A good foundation in graphic design history, theory, and practical application will help you hit the ground running. There are plenty of resources available in which you can learn graphic design on your own. Don’t set your expectations to high at first, as it will take enthusiastic study for years to become great. You can do it though!

Training about WEBSITE DESIGN

To get training in website design you need to go for practical training. Designing is the part that comes with creativity and self practice.

Enroll in an online web design class. Several websites offer classes that range in level, price, and focus, including eClasses and Education Portal.

Hi

I would like to suggest you to watch more and more videos because if you see the videos of web designing then you will be getting the perfect knowledge. Suppose if you have seen the video from starting to end then if the task would be same then you can do easily the task because you have seen the video and you know how to resolve this.
