Whenever I create a new document on photoshop there's always the slice the is at the top right corner of my document which is indicated by 01 and a small envelope of some sort, it irritates me whenever i'm drawing, can someone please tell how to turn that thing off, I've tried toggling the slice tool but still it won't go, please help

go to View>Show and click Slices
or just go to View and click Extras if you dont want anything. |

or press Ctrl+H which will hide the slices, guides, and gridlines if they are visible.
