I wondering how I can block users from viewing the contents of folder on a website. For example the /images folder of a website. Is it possible to block a certian URL that is viewed?
Sorry, Not sure what category to post in. Any help would be appreciated. |

Thanks for the response, I'll look into the HTACCESS solution.
If I use a blank index. file, is their any good scripts that could direct the viewer to the home url instead of the error message? |

The index.html file can be whatever you want it to be.
BTW, .htaccess only applies if it's a Unix server. If it's a Windows server, you may need to have the admin disable directory browsing. |
