URL question
Hi all,
Ok, I have a dumb question. How can you force the address to to be always in the format http://yyy.com even if you type just yyy.com in the URL box in IE? some webites have that and others don't, I was just wondering why? Thank you |

I think it depends on your service provider and the way the domain name services are set up. Some times you type www.domain.com and the browser will find the domain, but if you type in domain.com it won't. Good example is http://www.fi
You can do a validation with server side techologies, such as PHP, that check what the HOST is and you can redirect accordingly, not sure how it works withe prefix though.
