Very weird, help please!

I was wondering if any of you Web Junkies could help me at all. Im busy picking apart a real mess of a site written long ago in Frontpage by some guy whos long gone. It is in every way the biggest mess of a site I have ever seen. While in the future it will be my job to make a new site, currently I am having a hell of a time dealing with keeping the content current before I get that oppertunity.

AHEM.... ok now heres my problem. I have uploaded my changes to the index several times. Everything looks and works great. Then the next day i will visit the same page and SUPRISE its back to the old page. And im sure I overwrote the files SEVERAL times.

Now heres what im thinking. THeres a mess of javascript in this source and im thinking it might be doing some browser/resolution detection and reffering a different page or some jazz. I know Javascript but im on the begginer level, maybe one of you guys can check the source and tell me if you see any code that might be giving me this headache? Heres the we address:

http://www.jccmidwestchester.org/

just click to view sourse on first page that pops up. Any help is appreciated! Thanks - </mFP>

OH PS. You will know the difference between the old and new page because the new page has a link on the navigation column that says 2004/2005 Course schedule. It would be the 4th link down! Thanks

IE 6 and Mozilla 5.0 loaded your page fine.
You have a script that loads some insane JavaScript if they have Netscape 4.x, IE 4.x, or IE 5.x on Mac. This includes a section where it re-writes the left-side menu. This is probably what you need to change (IE won't let you view the below link):

Also, just so you know, your menu system doesn't work in Netscape/Mozilla.

Hope that helps.

Thank you so much! Thats what I thought it was.....could I bother you for some advice? How should I fix this problem? Should I just delete the whole script? If so which one is it?

Basically this site was made by some dude long ago in frontpage and there is just so much junk on the server its just impossible to manage! THeres literally over 150 files on the server. All in about 20 folders.

The people who own the site just want me to keep some of the info updated until they get thier new budget so I can make them a new one.

its been a major pain ! All I want to do now is make the index page work in IE and Netscape. So do you think I should just delete all the Scripts and go with basic HTMl. (The dropdown menus can go)

Let me know, and thanks again!
