Website Analyizer
Hi guys - newbie here (to the forum)
i'm a college student - working for a small company - we sell refurbished computer data storage units and similar stuff (mainly one particular brand - but we do other stuff as well)
we have a website setup- and do generate a bit of buisness - we also are starting up an e-commerce based site to generate more customers.
I was showing my boss a free tracker (extreme tracker) web counter that tracks alot of stuff (for single page sites) including refering webistes, and search engine phrases.
they loved the thought of knowing where our customers are coming from - and how they are finding us on the internet. we also would like to watch the page hits individually - and see where the majority of people go. Basically - we want to have somethign that can give us alot of details on our visitors.
I have seen several sites out there that sell web analysis programs for around $150 or so that you can put on your servers (we host our own page and ecomerce site) - but we are a bit in the dark about the counters.
anyone have some suggestions or links to good web site analysis that can provided detailed information about our visitors?
we would rather buy the program instead of just getting a 'service' - because its cheaper - and this way - we fully control it - and don't have to worry about some company going out of buisness in a year or something and us needingto find a new web analysis service provider!
i found one called web-ceo but $250 is a bit high for what we want - and its got more than just what we want - i dunno -just looking for opinions or reviews - thanks guys!
(sorry if that was a bit long!)
