Where can I find good icons/graphics for apps?
Anyone know where I can find free good icons for web applications? By that I mean graphic icons used on day to day apps like the icons used in:

http://phpadsnew.com/two/features-gallery.html

I know there are tons of web sites that offer free icons but are usually sucky and not free. I figure I'd ask if anyone knew. The icons used in phpAdsNew are pretty popular (I see them everywhere) so I'm wondering if they are in fact free for use commercially.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The best way to get cool, original and most of all free looking Icons is to create them yourself. Iconcool is a pretty neat program to create icons. I don't know if its freeware tho.

Actually, not too long ago I was looking for icons comparable to the ones in phpadsew. What I eventually found after searching was that mac osx icon sheets were the best. The way I got them was by searching google images for "mac osx icons" and then I would find jpg's with 10 or 12 icons in it. Not sure about the legality of taking those icons, but thats where you *could* find them if you wanted.

To find more icons I would recommend this program URL Icons can be exported to .png format.
