Cool work document not in position

Please help, whenever i start or open a blank document or work space in photoshop it always goes behind the toolbar and i have to drag it so that i can use and see the whole document. What should i do?

i'm using ps7, windows 98. it always does behind the toolbar where the paintbrush, the marquee tool, slice tool, gradient tool, magic wand tool, etc etc..is located

ok, first thing you can try is setting the window up as you want it and saving the layout (under the window menu).

Unfortunately, if your image is big then it will default to be under the toolbox pallette. It might be worth remembering that you can press the TAB key to toggle the pallettes on or off - great for working on large images.

my new document still goes behind the toolbar (where the marquee tool, brush tool, crop tool, healing brush tool, hand tool, shape tool, text tool, etc...are located) I've already done saving the workspace but whenever I make a new document it still goes behind the toolbar, and whenever my new document is about 16 x 16 pixels, i'll have a hard time dragging him underneath the toolbar unless i move the toolbar too, please help

hi,

right, your problem isn't really a bug at all. PS will always display a new document in the top left corner of the window. If that is where your toolbar happens t be then it will appear underneath it.

The only thing I can recommend is moving the toolbar and saving your window layout. You can either move it down a little so you will be able to access the titlebar of the window. Or move it to the right of the screen

I have done that too, i've tried saving my document in which it is not behind the toolbar but it still goes behind the toolbar. But I've tried installing it again and puff! my document never goes behind the toolbar everytime a create a new one. thnx for all the effort
