Your opinions guys?
The site is here: http://pgt.killerpro.com/index.php?ladderid=2 (tables in the middle are fake).
We want to remove the right side and here is what we are having. They all look a little strange with that small square in the bottom right corner. Either take the two areas at the bottom and expand them to fill the area, or make them smaller and bring the poll down to fill it. It'd be nice if Login and Poll were the same width too, but that's just picky.
#3 looks best, but I think it's b/c the empty space mentioned above doesn't look so much like empty space. And it definately goes with the rest of the site, but the others have potential. // me holds vote to see if you want to make any changes to screenshots

Well actually I prefer #1. But I do agree with jharnois about the blank space at the bottom right.
out of boredom I just did a quick redesign (attached). I personally think its more along the lines of what kind of layout you should go for. You might also want to try the same layout with #3 since that does look good also. It's just a suggestion. So basically I'd go for #1 or #3 but with a different layout. go with kolatracks layout redesign but use it for number 3. IMO there's just too much empty space in 1 and 2. #3 would also look better if you change the table title fonts to the one you used for 1 and 2.

Well, there will have something that will fill that lil corner, dont worry
 I just need some opinions about the design by itself...The thing is that I aint sure that the boxes in the #1 and 2 fit the whole site and seems to look weird to me... the frame and everything is square but the boxes got round corner and all... might be only me though :/ heh Last edited by Your-Killer : September 26th, 2003 at 09:43 AM.

I like either the original or #3 -- haven't made up my mind yet. One thing to look out for, though -- are you going to stretch your news box's height to fit your news, or scroll? 'Coz if the news box ends up taller than the poll box, it'll look funny.

#1 is my preference; I like the negative space created between the boxes. #3 looks too crammed together. I couldn't distinguish #2 from #1, save for the absence of one of the boxes (news).

Ok...
- Got rid of round corner (since it didnt fit pretty well because nothing else had round corner on the main frame). - Got a very dark blue in the bgcolor so the bg isnt all black and the box arent all just seperated by just a blue line - Login and poll are kinda different so it wont look like 10 boxes all the same... - I used a lil of glow aqua to fit the banner... Its empty and we need to imagine it fulfilled... but I think it is the best one.  Last edited by Your-Killer : September 26th, 2003 at 08:12 PM.

Ok, I was tired of "editing" it so.... I got this one. Not 100% finished but I think that it is way better

Can't complain too much about that one. My only suggestion is to fade out the grid as you move right unless you make it go all the way to the edge.
