    Updating Graphics

    I'm new in graphics web development.
    I'm working with the Apache, PHP4.05, and MySQL Set.
    I designed a small graphic display and I'd like to update every x time (for example every minute) the data stored in a database register and change that number in the display.

    I've made first an 'imagePNG' routine, start a Tick routine and every minute the Tick routine has to refresh the web page but the program executes all the orders at the same time and the graphic is made only once.
    I'd like to know hoy to make the page refresh.

    Many thanks.

    That's not a graphics question -- that's an HTML/JavaScript question. Posting in the appropriate forum will net you faster responses. ;-)

    There are a couple of methods you can use -- since you aren't being very specific as to your application, I'll just pick one and if it doesn't work for your scenario, you can provide more detail at that time.

    Put the following in your head tag:
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10; URL=http://www.devshed.com/" />

    "10" is a number in seconds.
    "http://www.devshed.com/" is the URL of the page. You can use either an absolute or a relative URL (relative to the page that contains the code, so if it's that page that you are refreshing, you just put the name of that file here)

    NOTE: that last slash is NOT a typo. It's required for XHTML 1.0 (the fact that the tags and attributes are all lowercase also is not a typo)
