best size to mock-up visuals for desktop, table and mobile

I need to mockup some designs for a desktop, tablet and mobile version of a web page. They will only be quite basic for now, but I wanted to ask what the best size to mockup visuals for desktop, tablet and mobile would be, in pixels. Just a rough guide would be fine.

    Many thanks.

Rough... is about as good as you'll get. There's not really any single size that's a perfect breakpoint for everything, but it sounds like you already know that one for yourself.

What we (normally) use here is:

Mobile: 320 pixels wide 9 to accomodate older iPhones

Tablet: 700 to 800 pixels wide

    Desktop: 1200 pixels

That will be different to others out there, so I'm sure you'll find a lot of differing opinions on this out there.

    Roughly you may use width:
    1080 px for desktop
    700 px for tablets
320-414 px for mobile phones (not actual but depending upon common screen sizes)
