Does anyone know of one or more of GOOD FREE sites
that hosts asp sites (asp+access db)?
Something that really work I mean?
I tried some, but most do not really work
when i need them to, and others except my files
but there's a problem with the adodb.connection and no one
there explains how to define the dsn there,
and what version of access can I work with, if at all.
So... anyone? Please?

I think you'll like this one! This should change your bad experiences with free hosting companies. You can also use Access 2000.

brinkster is great, bur read only permission
Thanks. But the probelm u can't write to the database in brinkster's site, only read from.
I.e., can't do actions like: "rs.update" etc.

May be one of this two sites will work good enough for your porpouse:
URL
URL
both include banners on your site but some people have told me that are better than brinkster (exept for the banners) and the second one also works with DNS.
Just one thing: i've been able to use an UPDATE mytable SET col1 = 'ghssf' WHERE ... in brinkster żdoesent in work insted of a RS.UPDATE?
(Excuse me for my poor english) And I expect this will be usfull for you. Bye

Hi, i've noticed that to be able to UPDATE, DELETE ... in URL you must send an e-mail to suport@brinkster.com and tell them you want (write permisson) and thats all.

Thnaks Ryk-
1. I'll check the sites. I checked websambe and it was not good enough, don't remember why.
2. As for "just writing" to brinkster in order to get
"write" permission. Well, they do not reply msgs.
The support.
I'll be glad to know if anyone got a msg back from there, then I'll know it's worth to re-write them.
Thanks
