Authentication
I'm hosting a website on Redhat 8 and I think my router is requiring authentication to get to it. Everytime I try to go to the website from any computer I get a pop up screen asking for a username and password for "Linksys BEFSR41/BEFSR11". How can I get rid of that? I just want it to go straight to the site. I turned off all firewalls through linux.

What you need to do is setup your forwarding table in your router to point to the server that has your website on it.
Login in to your router, then select advanced, forwarding tab, then UNP forwarding button. Now enable the port 80 for HTTP, set the internal prot to the port of your apache server ( 80 by default) then set the internal IP of your server. Robby |
