sounds like they need to do some disk clean up or move some people onto another server.

I can't blame them for doubling your price. WHM-Host was offering too good to be true deals. If you want a host with uptime, you have to pay for it.

Its like comparing a new ford mustang. If two dealers offered you the same car for $10,000 and $25,000 would you ever consider the possibility of something being wrong with the $10,000 deal? This is the exact situation your in. You may want to read webhostingtips.info to make sure you do not run into the same troubles again.

Why not try the plan at double the price, and see if services are any different, if worst comes to
worst, you can always cancel.

This is my story : 2 months ago I signed up for HostXL and it was working all great. My domain's nameserver settings was set to theirs, and my site keeps going up and down for the next 2 weeks, I asked them to look into it and they say it's all working fine, I changed host and my DNS propagated within 36 hours stable since...

same story as me

but they remade then deleted my accounts about 7 times before telling me that i am not getting my account back

they are the worse comapny ever. their staff a rude and thats if you can actually get in contact with them. they take about an average of 2 weeks to reply to a ticket. they either just delete it with no response or give you a pointless answer.

when i did have an account i could rarely get on it because there servers always seemed to be down

never go with them - and if people ask warn them off before they make a big mistake

I've heard previous whm-host clients have had nothing but headaches. I guess all whm-host clients were never migrated over to the hostxl payment system and are currently having issues.. Kinda scary.

At the same time I guess this is kinda expected, looking at their prices.

Yeah, thats why you should always consider alternatives and do backups on your own and not completely rely on hosts..

Yes that is true you should always have a backup on your files. It is a big mistake not to not matter how good the host may be. If you are going to signup for a host make sure you try to get reviews on them sometimes. If you cant find any try to see if you cna get a free trail. Or see if they have good support and how long it takes to them answer a question before you buy.
