Best Reseller Web Hosting company- please suggest
Hi,
Could you suggest best web hosting company for resellers. I would like to start my own web hosting service. Right now I am looking for linux hosting. After searching on google, it seems to me http://www.hostgator.com/resellers.shtml suitable for me. Please suggest, I am looking for realiable, 99.99% uptime as well as affordable with unlimited domains, automated billing process etc. Thanks in advance Kind Regards, Samser

Hi what specifications are you after? Such as space/bandwidth. How many accounts you want to be able to create? Your budget?

I've used a couple so far, and I can recommend Hostgator. They are the only ones that have been able to respond properly and quickly to support requests. The prices are pretty good as well. The billing software they offer isn't the latest version, but it's enough to get you going and see if you can make a go of it.

Thanks for your response.
Take a look at http://www.hostgator.com/resellers.shtml, aluminum plan or http://lypha.com/mini_reseller.shtml MResell #1 both are almost same which I want. Since I am at the very early stage so I would like to start with some hosting company from which I can get support if my client face any problem. Secondly, what I like most is automated billing system, private nameserver, easy to migrate from one host to another, if I don't satisfy with support. |

I hear very mixed opinions about Hostgator support. If Hostgator isn't good enough, take a look at Bluehost as well. I have some friends who have accounts with them and said their support is great.

I have had great experience with Site5.com. I have two resellers there for personal projects.

I can recommend you HostCats.com, LunarPages.com and Webhostingbuzz.com. Good companies in providing reselling web hosting.

MikHoSoft can offer you a package that allow you to expand as your customerbase increases.
Start with a lowcost resellerplan and upgrade as you bring your own customers in. MikHoSoft will also help you install and configure WHMCS as your automated billing system with domain registration support. If this sounds interesting, please contact MikHoSoft via email at sales[at]mikhosoft[dot]com for a custom quote. |

www.Webhostingbuzz.com and www.Lunarpages.com are good as they offer free domain names in their packages, while a good thing about www.Hostcats.com is that they are based in India with servers in the USA.
Check www.Resellerpanel.com plans with free reseller hosting program. |

Hi I would like to you to say that i don't believe them fully and also there services. Samser looking for a reseller, however,in my opinion, you can chose any webhosting company except them. There are some complaints about there uptime and technical support. If you are hosting with them as a customer you have the rights to solve this problem by the help of your hosting company.Who knows which type of service they have. You didn't expains here about the amount of bandwidth and disk space you want. What are your needs ??? |

As you are new to hosting business i will suggest you to go with a host who is available round the clock for you and your clients. Try to get a host who is available 24x7 via easy to use support facility such as Live chat or Free phone support etc... I have heard most -ve reviews for hostgator, be away from them, their support sucks. If you ask me i will recommend my host anytime who is listed on my site ![]() |

Hi,
Thanks for reply! I am a bit confused, but this is true almost on all "web hosting review" site I can see hostgator name. I have found out 2 sites which seems to me better since they have servers located in the carrier-neutral Equinix Chicago Data Center. 1.www.hostforweb.com 2.webhosting.net My present server is running with webhosting.net. does anybody have idea regarding www.hostforweb.com? Could anybody knows where hostagator's servers are located, since I don't my client to run site on servers running on someone's dining room I can max. spend $30 per month right now with great support and WHM, CPANEL unlimited accounts/domains 247-cheapdomain, yes seems very cheap , that's why I am bit worried about this. One more thing, I want to deal with the reputed company directly like godaddy no reseller. I am surprised by visiting 2 sites, 1.lypha.com, 2.imhosted.com looks they are same http://lypha.com/contact.shtml and http://www.imhosted.com/contact.shtml don't know which one is on the top of the hierarchy. Do you open for other control panels like DirectAdmin? It's very easy to use, more stable than cPanel, use less memory ![]()
