Hello All I may end up buying some Cobalt RAQ4 servers. I will use a colocation service to "plug" my servers to the internet. I'm new to all if this so does anyone have any troubles with Cobalt! I know I don't want a windows server nor do I want a tower, I really want to use a rack mounted system.
Or if you know of any sites that talk about this? [This message has been edited by -=-steve-=- (edited January 01, 2001).] |

Why not rent servers that are already pre-configured.
Would save a lot of hassle and probably money ------------------ Regards Darren -- http://www.php4hosting.com/ $ http://www.php4hosting.co.uk/ £ PHP/MySQL Enabled Hosting/Dedicated Servers, Reseller Accounts |

Check out www.rackshack.net. This is an ISP I use to work at and they are now offering dedicate RaQs. I have had a Dedicated Raq with them for over a year. Great service and unbeatable prices.
Just some suggestions, Zebbx |

The site is down, but I would be interested in checking it out when it is up again. I have never seen anyone beat our prices for a RaQ so I am interested to see. We do RaQ 3's at $125/month with no other charges.
Most of the time, anyone selling a RaQ server for sub $100 is selling you a RaQ 2. Which are pretty much poop, and have been discontinued. Steve --> RaQ4i's and RaQ4r's are good servers. You should have no problems, once you run through the patches. Email me if you need help with anything. |
