Can I remove frontpage stuff on my server?
I upload via ftp and never use nor have frontpage.
I host space via a company, and the ftp has _vti files and a _private folder. I have read that both of these are explicitly for frontpage. Can I safely remove them? How do I know if I can. And also, what is an IIS server, how do I know if I have one and does this have an imlication on above question? |

You can remove those folders if you are not using them. Login by FTP and delete them.
If you ever do need them again you can just login to your control panel and install FrontPage extensions. Most hosts turn them on by default. |
