Hello its me again.

I need a web host that's uk based and relatively cheap that has the following:

20mb+ of webspace
PHP4
mySQL
Perl/CGI

I also need to be able to have multiple domain names to go to different
parts of my website.
eg.
http://www.domain1.com goes to http://www.hosted-site.co.uk/
http://www.domain2.com goes to http://www.hosted-site.co.uk/folder2/
http://www.domain3.com goes to http://www.hosted-site.co.uk/folder3/

and the domains are fully functional. ie. http://www.domain3.com/four/page5.php is
really the file at http://www.hosted-site.co.uk/folder3/four/page5.php.
Does anyone know of anywhere that does this?

standard £30/year with 10mb space
mysql £10/year extra
10mb £10/year extra

A total of £50/year.

That is far too expensive for me. I was thinking of something about half that price.

btw. If you're thinking I'm a cheapskate cos I can't afford £50 a year then you're sort of right. I am only 14 with no job and no income.

I thought 'this looks brilliant' but then I noticed that you don't get php and mysql at all with the free one and the cheapest package with php and mysql costs £300 a year which is very expensive (for me at least).

I know just the place.
This place has 20meg, FTP, PHP, Perl and MySQL for free. And for £15 a year you can get your own .com domain name.

And Freedom 2 Surf is based in UK so this seems to have all you need.

everything you want is included in the price, no hidden extras like some companies. I personally recommend it coz I work for them!!! I can sort everything out for you personally. Even my university now hosts with us coz although they are an ISP they don't have php.

Thanks for your help everybody.

I have now decided to host with www.supanames.co.uk
as they have everything I want plus more for only £13.99 a year! They also boast something like 99.9% uptime.
They don't do the multiple domain things but, hey, at that price I'm sure I'll be able to afford seperate accounts for my sites.

supanames.co.uk were a reseller of fasthosts.co.uk and their supanames.co.uk is on us based dns servers!!

Hmmm sounds dubious huh?

They aren't a reseller of fasthosts anymore. They have their own servers now.
I've already bought my hosting with Supanames now and there is no way I'd buy something from somewhere I've never heard of.
