I would suggest using paypal. People can sign up with paypal and it makes it super easy and cheap ($0) for you to accept money (they may pay with credit card or check or bank account, you don't care).

We use worldpay, they are not cheap but the level of service and the fact they will do out monthly billing for us saves alot of admin costs.

Or you can try Kagi.com
