Domain renewal problem
Hope someone can offer some help here as I`m losing my mind over this!!
I registered my domain with Nevidia last August, but my site is hosted elsewhere. The domain is due to expire on Tuesday, so I have been in contact with Nevidia about paying using paypal. They said fine. Three days later I am waiting for a paypal invoice from them, they take ages to reply to emails, and always say it takes time with paypal. To me that`s bull****, I use paypal and an invoice is instant. Phoning sales, billing or customer service is a waste of time, as they cannot take your call right now Nevidia are taking so long I fear I may lose my domain when it expires, and I`m pissed because I have spent a year building a successful website, only to see my domain screw up. Now I find tonight I cannot access my domain control, my username is not recognised. I called their wonderful tec support (sales, billing and customer service are always unavailable) and they cannot find my details, then they say my domain is regsitered under enom.com Tried checking in with enom.com and got the answer I expected, I am registered with nevidia (of course I am, I have the paperwork in front of me). I wish to god I had transferred my domain elsewhere but now that`s too late. It`s pretty obvious they don`t care less, they don`t make anything out of registering a domain so they`re not bothered about my domain one bit. I`m screwed. Ideas anyone? Ps. Sorry about the spelling mistakes, I`m rather annoyed about all this. |

Had the same experience but it was a little from my own art that I was screwed up...
How since that domain is expired I think you can still get the people who signed up for it ( your hosting company ) to activate it again if it has not be more than 2 months. But after that your domain would be bought by someone to stream Ads when your user access the domain... If it has been bought up by another company... then I guess you are out of luck... unless that otehr company would want to sell the domain to you at a markup price, you are completely lost on this....
