    Ebook Copyright

I've a question about copyright. I hope this is the right place for copyright questions. If otherwise, please let me know!

I've downloaded some free ebooks from sites like rapidshare, megaupload etc. I now want to have a website which is a collection of some of these ebooks for the purpose of free user download. Is this legal? If it isn't, (being honest) are there any loopholes I can exploit? Thanks.

Only if you receive permission from the owner of the ebook (in written form).

No one on here is going to assist you in bending the law to suit your needs. Try talking to a lawyer if you're insistent upon doing this.
