Fastest growing company

Recently SimpleHelix.com was notified by HostReview.com as stating that the have won a spot on their TOP 10 Fastest Growing Hosting Company Awards!
And I wonder how the company can get this award. Must be not very easy.

How exactly would hostreview.com know how many customers they have and the rate of growth of the company?

In order to notify them of an award win like that, wouldnt they need to know some fairly in-depth info thats generally not available to the public?

Generally the companies would opt into the process and complete a survey. That's the way it works for most "top n companies ___" or "best companies for _____".

Think Hostreview.com gives such awards on the basis of reviews that Simplehelix.com customers left there.

huntty, do you mean here:
http://www.hostreview.com/cgi-bin/search_hosts/show_company_info.cgi?Web_Space=&Operating_System=&Monthly_Fee=&Data_Transfer=&order=&page=0&id=13327&action=1

Click on "Reviews" and see there are currently NO reviews of them on that website...

Although, IMHO, the hostreview website seems really complicated to actually find anything if you already know what your looking for, and there is no apparent way to add your own company to their listings either.

There advert's take so much priority on their website, then all you have left is the categories, and not much else other than links to other websites...

So, if your a company wanting to add to their listings????
If your a customer wanting to find your host and leave a review of them???

There are much better review websites than this that have far more trust and usability surely....

No idea if its false, but its obviously written by themselves (Not as a review though)

We can all claim to be at the cutting edge with the fastest servers, but you really would need to be sat beside the server, or to be able to run test's directly on the server yourself to find out, and once the data leaves the datacentre and the customers internet services providers get between the servers and the customers browsers, speeds are not controllable by the host.

Its really quite straight forward to keep servers running fast, just dont oversell them, and set them up properly.

The latest cutting edge isnt always a good thing though, it just means "fresh out of Beta" and nobody else is using it in most case's, or that it hasnt been out long enough to know if its reliable lol....

Pretty much like Vista when that first hit the shelves, thats was "cutting edge" stuff, but nothing would work properly with it...

well, I try not to trust review sites or any other mass resourses about their estimation. If I see company starts new features - that means they have success. The latest succesful notice was gazzin.com. Very recently they extended business seriously added dedis and seo services. This is what I call success. However I do not have experience with them, so this is only analytical conclusion.

Right, so you dont trust what other customers have written about, you only rely on what a company sells and if they start new products?

So, how will you be able to find out how reliable, how helpful and how honest your hosting company is based only on what they are selling?

Forget the spam about gazzin, your writing that as if its your own company, honestly, do you seriously expect us all to believe that you dont trust reviews, and will measure a companies "success" based only on their offerings?

Overall simplehelix.com has started a new kind of hosting services - reselling. Their plan is rather resourceful.
And if you need more space, it's an ideal solution.
It seems this company is growing up.

lol, reselling isnt new, and if they are still "growing up" then maybe its best left alone?

I see your post once again makes very little sense, but hey, you managed to get a link in didnt ya' ?

How much you getting paid to drop in all these links and never say anything useful?

Surely reselling isn't a new option but for simplehelix.com it's a new one.
As I see many resources they offer to their clients in their plan and I wonder what billing software they have?

I trust only my eyes, and I know lately gazzin.com has experienced drastic expansion of their services portfolio, adding dedicated servers and SEO services. This is an index, so I will trust them more than some rating!
