First Time Choosing Registering a Domain with oneandone.co.uk

Hi Im currently working on a project that requires a .com address registered now I have looked at the following

for the .com domain registration does anybody here have any experience with this company?

What about a good hosting provider should i choose them also.

Do they only do UK Websites?

8.99 in pounds for a .com is 15.7046 USD Right or am I wrong what about the hosting prices do I need to pay the entire year?

I'm working on a huge project and don't want to make any big mistakes,and i've never done any domain registration other than working with free webhosting sites.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
