Yep...Unlimited Space and Bandwidth does not exist. Its a pure scam unless you just want to host a single image.

Why people even bother is beyond me...What I don't get is that this is free too heh.

I dont get how your mysql host qualifies a being a perk for this. Surely it would be on their server???

localhost means that its on their server, since the scripts accessing the db are on their server, mysql is local to that.

Anyhow, why are you wasting time with them? Your account will just be suspended or deleted and most likely they'll sell your personal information.

But regarding your mysql point, MYSQL runs on a server. Your web pages reside on that server. Your web pages are accessing that mysql db on that server, so because both on the same physical machine, the address to connect to mysql is "localhost".

Now lets say you wanted to run a program from your computer and access your mysql DB on the server, then you'd have to do 2 things

1) GRANT your IP permission to access mysql (through their control panel or the command line)
2) Find out the IP for mysql (most likely the same IP as the server)

they've already set it up though. They've given me a dbase name. I still can't access it yet beause I don't know their server address.

The mySQL thing was kind of weird, considering this site was dutch but on their drop down menu go over i think the third one and you'll see SQL or something click on it and you can login to your database!
