Hi guys, I'm looking for a host, which would support a vbulletin-forum. I allready tried tripod.de, but despite the php and mySQL-support the vbulletin forum v. 2.3 doesn't work. Any suggestions for a host?

will... u dont need a vb license to get vb..... phpbb has a vbclone that looks like vbulletin. go to www.phpbb.com and download it. also go to google and search for hosts that host free phpbb forums but u need to get a host that lets u charge the layout. then install the vbulletin phpbb template on that and u will have free vbulletin forums.

Alternatively, you might wish to use Invisionboard, they looks nice as well.
We are using that but has not customise anything yet. So you might wish to take a peep at our forums for reference, http://forums.addvaluehost.com |

Question
Im sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but honestly, I am kinda new to this. How would I go about inserting the template onto the server of my host. Also how do you configure your site name and such to use a template from phpBB.com. Bsically, I dont know where to start. If someone could be so kind as to show me how do begin, it would be really appreciated.
Peace Mike |
