|
Good host to stream audiofiles?
I am looking for a good hosting company to put my mp3 audiofiles and be able to stream them to my customers. I would need like 50GB of space and about 600-1000GB of Bandwidth. Any recommendations?

I'd have to say that you should look into an Asian dedicated server or some sort of server in Canada unless you have rights to those songs and can legally stream them. You can usually find a server of those specs for around ~60-70 USD/month.

If you own the copyright to the songs, or are allowed to retransmit, then I'd just hit up http://ev1servers.net and pick up a cheap dedicated server (some as low as 99 / month)
You wont find any shared hosting account that will give you 1000 gigs / month bandwidth.

Then yes, you should be able to find a pretty decent dedicated server for your needs. I wouldn't shoot below $50.00/month however.
