You could get a Dedicated Server or Cloud hosting solution.

I also recommend you to try dedicated or hybrid server.
If your budget is really low, you can use VPS for start.

Also, for what location are you looking for? Do you have additional needs, like IPs?

A dedicated server can withstand high server loads and is dedicated to your Website only.If you can't afford a dedicated server then choose VPS hosting. You can get cheap Linux cloud hosting plans from 9Cubehosting.com .The OpenVZ Vps plan starts from $19.99 /month.
You can get a dedicated server from them for $199/month.
They provide excellent service and support.

Things look pretty blur from out here. So if you'd state the size of the database you look forward to hosting, it'd be easier for everyone to understand and suggest you an appropriate solution.
Well, if you haven't set-up your website yet and look for setting up in the near future, then you can probably start with a shared hosting solution as I assume the traffic and the number of registrants during the initial days would be low. This should also help you save your money.
You always have the option to upgrade with the growing requirements of your website.

You can buy high configuration VPS server and host site there. If your site starts overloading the VPS, you can go for dedicated server.

Large Website is a very vague term. But based on your explanination, you need a hosting solution that should be scalable as your website grows. You can go with a Cloud VPS solutions. This way when your website needs more resources you can just add it via your control panel
