    Hosting Solutions for multiple clients

    Hi Guys,

I know this might be a silly question but:

What is your approach when dealing with small business costumers?

Do you pay for a VPS or dedicated server and offer free hosting or do you put each client in a separate shared host and charge monthly fees?

    Thanks in advance.

We require clients to provide their own hosting. We'll provide hosting recommendations and help them get it set up, but everything has to be in their name. This just simplifies things in the long run. Besides, if they can afford our development services then they can afford to pay a monthly fee for hosting.

    Hello,

It depends on customers number. You could use reseller hosting too.

Buying a reseller package and host the client's sites there is another option. If you have small websites to host, there won't be any problem. I don't think there is any need to go for VPS and above from the start itself. You can upgrade according to need. Hope this helps.

Generally it depends on the situation and as per the requirements of the clients. This in case if the customer is having small business then we might offer him shared or VPS according to his demand and needs.
