Hosting with all the development goodies?

Hi,

I'm looking for a UNIX webhost with as many development goodies as possible. SSH is a must. Not too much bandwidth required, 3GB. Diskspace 50MB. Looking to spend $5-7 per month..

Perl5.6, PHP4.x, Python 2.x, Tcl, C, C++, JSP, Java servlets, mysql, msql, postgreSQL, XML, crontab, SSI.

and tons of modules installed: mod_perl, mod_php, mod_rewrite, GD, LWP:, DBI/DBD:mysql, and loads of other modules.

I really would like to try and experiment with each of the above. I'm have been getting really into these devshed articles lately. Does anyone know of a host like this, particularly for developers? Also, anyone know of a hosts that are technically competent in programming? I would think those hosts are in tune with all the modules and programming related parts of the server.

well, hosts arent exactly excited about installing everything on their boxes, so.... try to search on www.hostindex.com, also try to look into www.wantsomegetsome.com (bosted those 2 like 50 times here), and see what they've got to offer. Not too much, but they have most of what you need

Thanks... I was just wondering if anyone here knew of a host that does install a lot of development features on accounts. These are rare, I know.

Anyone have any comments on wantsomegetsome? As well, any other recommendations would be helpful.. Thanks..

accounts, except servlets (which are available on dedicated servers only).
also a bunch of other languages like
forth, ocaml, lisp, prolog, erlang, ruby.
PHP comes with about 30 installed libraries, like GD, PDF, GDBM, mysql,
sockets, curl, SSL, etc. perl 5.6+, and python also comes with many ready modules. mod_rewrite, DBI/DBD, mod_perl.

SSH1 and SSH2. Higher accounts can also have their own mysqld server with full admin control (lower accounts comes with a database).
Also supports subdomain mapping, multiple domains per accounts, SSH access to all email users.

The reason we support all those things is our web programmers background, and we remember when we also wanted to try and play with all of them. Also the servers are loaded with enough RAM to be able to load all stuff.

The pricing are reasonable, althougth
we don't do too low, we prefer quality
over quantity. we want our users to enjoy
it at least like we do.
