how do you transfer from your local host to a server

I am almost done my first project and I don't know what exactly has to be done in setting everything up on the server as I have it set up on my laptop. The project is one that requires a myslq db. It is things like how do I set up my tables, what host names are used (although I am sure my host would tell me this).

I am sure there are many that know the answer to this question.

I didn't use global variables so that will hopefully eliminate some server setup conflicts

BTW does anyone have any recomendations to servers that provode a good price along with good service?

Thanks

Send a message via ICQ to computer
try localhost for host field and DB user and pass should be set via the server admin or cpanel, whm, ensim etc whatever your host uses

On a CPanel shared hosting account, your host for MYSQL will be localhost,
DBname is username_dbname and DBusername is username_dbuser.
If you're learning PHP and MYSQL, we can help.
