How to find a website publication date ?
how can I find out when a website was first came to live ?

example : how do I find out when yahoo.com was first published in web ?

Doing a whois will tell you when the domain was created. Not necessarily when a site became live. As far as I know, there's not really a way to determine when the site was first published, other than contacting the owner of the domain and asking them.
