Hello,

Hyper-V is used mainly on Windows servers. IMHO the main advantage is that it's part of the Windows server and more user friendly than other virtualization sofware.

Cool

I think that each has it advantages. There are no best or worst solutions to all scenarios, it depends on what do you actually need. I believe there is no need to pay for something you will not use.

The most significant benefit that Linux VPS hosting options have over windows hosting options is being a FOSS (free and open source) application, which means in case if you’re skilled in hosting and server management, by going for Linux VPS hosting, you will be capable of saving some money on the licensing and the product fees. Additionally, when judged against the RDC (remote desktop connection) access that is offered with Windows VPS servers, SSH access offered with the Linux VPS servers is a much more comprehensive experience. For more info go to vpswebserver.com and http://www.vpswebserver.com/windows...ages-of-hyper-v

In the perfect sense there are multiple feature difference between the three technologies and would be really hard to list them all here. So would recommend you to visit the below resource to get a complete picture of the feature differences.
