but does your free account support InvisionBoard with PHP sendmail? custom .htaccess? mod_rewrite? host a domain name or just sub.ledhost.com?

my friend is going to get a lowcost hosting account from IndiaHigh (not the most responsible looking company) for $6/year. I don't expect him to turn much bandwidth. just an art gallery and discussion board. what would you suggest?

Its the users option
If they wish to host their domain they will be placed in control via cpanel or WHM( FOR RESELLERS ONLY )

If they are on their subdomain plan they may have pswd protected directories on request.

the only way you will get a decent account with any ounce of customer support is to pay for it. Web hosting is cheap now... the price of a fast food lunch will get you great hosting.
