iPowerWeb???

Anyone have experience with these guys? I got some spam from them, and although I swore to never do business with a company that sends me unsolicited e-mail, the offer sounded pretty good.

I currently host a domain of mine, http://www.amerigo.com, at DellHost, and they suck. Mail server is ALWAYS going down 15 minutes at a time.

Is 15 Gigs of transfer good compared to others?

What are your needs as far as hosting plans are concerned?

Let me know and I can quote you a decent price.

Erm...Ah was there anywhere on that site, amerigo you linked to that listed prices for there services?

I'm kinda new so I might have missed it.

Do they try and get all kinds of info from you before they quote and then try and sell you all kinds of "solutions" you were not aware you had problems for?

And lastly how do you calculate transfer anyway?

Quite a good company

I think URL is good hosting company. You can consider visiting other sites if you are not pleased with its hosting plans. Try URL , URL , URL or URL

Good luck.

Ipowerweb

I am using Ipowerweb at the request of my client, who signed themselves up for an account. I would not have chosen them otherwise.

They have standard features, which is what anybody would expect from a Hosting Service, but I've found them to be VERY unprofessional in terms of customer service. Emails *sometimes* get a reply 2 weeks after many follow up emails.

This has cause much embarrassment for me, as I try to offer a professional reliable service to my clients.

I have been THRILLED with iPowerWeb thus far. The last two hosts I used were a complete joke and a half. These guys were nothing but profesional with me and have been perfect to work with.

Hi bamaster,
We get a great deal of our clients from IPowerWeb. The biggest complaint is their service. Unanswered emails, being stuck on hold for 10-20-30 minutes at a time, that sort of thing. My only personal criticisms are as follows:
1. They run a very old version of CPanel, which has got to be somewhat unstable.
2. They pack on thousands of clients per server which overloads some aspects of the server.
3. As far as I know, they do not have a monthly billing cycle (either quarterly or yearly).

We try very hard to make our clients happy and to offer the best service we can. You can take a look at our hosting plans on my business' web site here:
http://www.CyberTarp.com

We give all of our devshed buddies their first month free so you have time to evaluate our services. We would love to host your site for you; but no matter who you decide to go with, I would highly recomend that you take advantage of a 'free trial' and/or at a minimum try contacting their support (via email, phone, trouble tickets, or whichever method you prefer to use).

Please let me know if I can be of any more assistance
