Is geekhosting.com ok?
My current webhost is offering a really cheap deal but its unreliable. I am thinking of trying geekhosting.com.
I have 2 domain names (pending 3rd), so need multiple domain hosting. Has anyone tried and recommend geekhosting.com? Any other suggestions? |

hmm...
I like that support guarantee Before you buy, why not contact them and see how soon they will reply to your support/sales question to test them Thought navlemhosting.com is my competitor, I heard good things about them. Hytekhosting.com isnt too shabby either. (The owners work with me, actually were the reason for my website hosting business)

I tried 3 times to use their online question thing and it was broken and theres no email address on the website - My conclusion now is that geekhosting.com is dodgey, and I mean geekhosting.com not geekhost.com (I made a mistake in the title). geekhosting.com does not have a guarantee

Did you really expect everything and a bag of chips for a cheap low price like that? Expect to pay 40-50 cents per GB bandwidth for good hosting with good support. |

Actually my requirements are quite low - just 3 databases 70mb and decent bandwidth. 5mb/month on your $3.50 plan is more than double my bandwith requirements. The only thing I am really asking for is 2 domains. I'm not asking for unlimited domains, subdomains, databases, space and bandwith. be fair.

Anything lower than that, for us would not be worth the time. We have costs (I.E. our tech reps) so to setup an account bringing in $2 a month would be worthless. I.E. 45 cents - 70 cents of that would go to our banks for processing the transactions, which would leave us with a $1.30 a month. At the same time its going to cost you quite a chunk of that as well to process it.
If your willing to go for the Starter Plan, let me know. |

I'm not saying that $3.50 is bad. I've seen hosting from $6 year (dodgey) to $25 a month (in your dreams) but at the moment I am seriously considering a deal offered to me in another thread
