Looking for free/lowcost quality hosting?

Hi,

Just a quick survey to find out how many people here would be interesed in a free php/mysql/perl/ad free/ftp/shell/etc host for one domain/ftp account.

Anyone that would use about that 50mb space and 1gb transfer then I'd like to know.

Each account is one off $20 which mainly goes to charity (Save Lua Campaign), we also may do some free packages if you have a good non-moneymaking reason

This is not a con, and we are not just starting out with our hopes up.....

Okay,

several people have PMed me asking about resellers/more than one domain.

If you have say, www.mydomain.com and www.clientdomain.com, www.client2.org and client3.co.uk then it can be set up:

username for www.mydomain.com FTP, Shell, Mysql = mydomain

folders:
web/mydomain.com/www
web/clientdomain.com/www
web/client2.org/www
web/client3.co.uk/www

The charges are not yet confirmed but are likely to be $20 one-off for the first domain, and $15 for every one after.

This means that each domain has the same username and password, so this is suitable for users that control all of their clients directly, and clients use their webmaster to upload/use mysql etc.

--OR--

Several accounts can be created, and each has its own username, password, database, ftp login, etc.

Each user will have their own web/theirdomain.com/www folder.

This will probably be charged at $20 per login.

We can offer subdomains at $15 one off.

Well, basically we have a development server that a few of the devshed mods (and Andreas ) use for stuff. We kind of keep it to ourselves but we have quite a bit of resources so for a limited time we are offering some positions on our server.
