Several of my clients use Mage Mojo. I recommend them to everyone. They are the only host that only hosts Magento sites.

My clients are getting 2 second load times with them.

It would be much easier for all of us to suggest you the best option if you share your hosting budget and resource requirements.

I would go with any of the providers on this page: http://www.magentocommerce.com/partners/hosting

As they are certified by Magento.

That means nothing. To become a "partner", you just need to pay Magento a boat load of money.

Those companies are not really "certified". They do not go through any type of review process to make sure they provide solid hosting and support for Magento.

If you pay the huge fee, your in. It is that simple.

Yeah I know, but I know a couple of those companies have Magento hosting as their main product line so you can expect great support from them.

Just because they add "Magento Hosting" as part of their product line does not mean they offer great support. They add that "product line" because there is a demand for it and they want to rank well in Google for that keyword.

Some of my clients host/hosted with some of the companies that claim to be Magento hosting "specialists". Even though those companies market themselves as a "Magento Host" with great Magento support, I assure you they are not. I had to get some of my clients away from those companies because their sites were too slow and the hosts just made excuses.

If you need a reliable host that offers optimized set ups for Magento and a support staff that truly understands Magento, then there are only a handful of solid companies that offer this.

Out of all of the hosts on that partners page, there is only 1 there I would trust. The other top companies are not even listed.

Most of the hosting service support Magento on their servers. Magento is resource hungry, so make sure that you select the right hosting plan.

Absolutely, the magento is a resource intensive CMS system, it means whichever hosting company you choose just make sure to opt for a hosting plan with enough resources. Also, do check the minimum hosting resources required for magento based website. Make sure the hosting provider has fast network connectivity and offers 24x7 customer support via Email, Phone and Live Chat, which is the most important aspect you should consider when choosing hosting provider.

How long has the host been around, it’s beneficial if they have been established for some time, but this doesn’t mean rule out the really new ones but if you are going to choose a newish hoster, ask your self how are you going to feel if your site just disappears and you have no chance of getting it back?
