Offers post getting long
It whould be nice if there was a rule on how many lines we can post. So companies post are about very, very long and it makes it hard for the user to read them all. Just my 2 cents.

I agree, we don't need to know every single feature of cPanel/Fantastico

Also to help with the post and run host, who post some times like this:
We will help you, im us. I say: When answering a request, you must include 1. The URL to the plan 2. The price 3. Describe or name the features that match the original request. |

Not all hosts offer the same features as others so this part is kind of important i think. |

Seems a bit labour intensive to count each of post for the length :|

If each host has different cPanel/Fantastico/Other features, provide a link to those features if someone wants those. But not everyone will want that, I agree with Corral. Posts should be like this:
__ Space __ Transfer Control Panel Type (Nothing more on C.P.s) Link to plan Price Other crap asked for in request Then a link to "Features" If not, maybe a LIL bit more for server information requests and all that stuff but about this size is all thats needed. |

Yes thank you. I mean for one it slows down the forum, and the reader. For two, they re post the same long offer, when adding something.

Yeah... I see that some threads get "recycled" when inactive for so long which is good but I think that it should happen a little bit more often, altho some people disagree... I don't really mind tho too bad, my computer is awsome so it's always fast for me, but still. I'll try to keep in mind length next time I make an offer... Altho currently I don't have a site so my posts may be a lil longer :-P (well, I have a forum but no actual priced plans yet... Just got my server today and I a newb when it comes to pricing stuff)
Well, I rambling so i'm just gonna shutup! |

It's not as much the length. Some people, like Virtuoso Net Solutions, just repost the same post of about 250 lines, each time they want to "respond" to a request. It's not an actual response, just the same spam repeated over and over again - disguised as an actual response.
The moderators don't seem to care, so I'm presuming he's a pal. ![]() |

What do you purpose we do? Ban them for posting too many characters? I guess counting exactly how many characters is an option for those with no time but for me personally I couldn't enforce that as it would take too much time.
I also find it funny that some of you whom have posted can not keep up with the current rules yet your purposing new rules? |

You do manage to enforce other subjective rules, I can't see why this would be different. Not complaining, you do a nice job keeping this a fairly clean forum. Just expressing my opinions on the matter.
