PHP and MYSQL

I'm looking for cheap hosting that has at least MySQL 3.23.33 and at least PHP 4 installed. Anyone know of any companies like that? Not dedicated looking for shared or virtual hosting here. $10 would be nice :-)

Um.. let's see, their plans start from $20.... a year, with their best plan only $90 a year.

I have not used these people nor heard anything about them. Maybe you can be our gunea pig and tell us all about them.

Maybe I mis-read the fine print on the LivePlanets.com website, but they seemed to be directed solely to reseller accounts... Which would mean that all of the quoted "rock-bottom" prices are in addition to the basic 20 USD/mo fee.

Which (if they're reliable) still becomes a great deal in comparison to other sites, if you need multiple sites hosted...

There are some links to hosting24-7.com on the LivePlanets.com site as well, so that might be their "retail" operation...

I know two guys who are signed up there, and they did not say anything about having basic fee of $20... Try reading post 'help' that has been around about a week ago, there was some guy who just signed up, you might want to send him an email.

I was the one al is referring to. They charged me a $19.95 reseller fee and then I added all my resold domains at the rates on their site. However, it sounds here like somene is trying to make them dishonest. I may be wrong, but I do not think they are at all. I did my home work pretty well and called and spoke to them several times to the point of being an annoyance, and each time they were very straight forward with their fees. I don't see any thing wrong with charging a million bucks for webhosting if you let your potential clients know upfront.

And Al, you wanted to know about server speed, i'd say 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The service still remains good, very good. Hope it stays thesame

Good. I did call them too and talked to them, so as I understood if lets say you want to have 1gigs of space and 200gigs of bandwidth you'll pay $20+$1=$10=$40 where 20 is basic fee and 10 twice is plan cost.... I said they weren't perfect because you cannot really sign up just for fun, like you would if checpest paln did cost $4, so 'fun' solution is still after burst on www.wantsomegetsome.net Although liveplanets do offer nice plans for series of sites.
