$1 a month? I would never suggest selling a plan less then $4 a month.

But do you think it is a fair price?

I think you will loose money and be out of business soon with these plans. Good luck.

What prices would you recommend for the services that I stated in these plans?

I suggest you sit down and figure out what all your costs are going to be as well as the cost to live and provide support to your customers. If you only cover the cost of the server or VPS then why bother providing a service?

Well, I would like to get a few customers lined up before starting a business.
If you want to be on the waiting list, state your email and the plan you would like. |

Who would want to go with a hosting company that are a day old?
The chances are that your own knowledge would be greater than the host's Good Luck ![]() |

Well,
Your prices are good, I will give you that (again, just make sure that you can afford to pay yourself, and your other costs). But 2UK2 does have a good point, serious buyers will probably avoid your services, so newcomers will be the most likely to buy. At the same time, everyone has to start sometime too ![]() Just don't expect a ton of sales right away. If you do want any help with any thing or have questions please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you out (my email is info@120host.net ). Best of luck, Mike 120Host Networks |

Hey,
If you intend to make money and be a worthy host, then up the prices, up the service and make the plans seem realistic. However, for a publicity stunt, I guess it wont hurt to do it for a limited amount of clients. Again, NOT SUGGESTED. $1/month = 50cents (after merchant fees)

Perhaps if you would rather gain clients quickly and loose money faster you could pay people to be your clients?

Hey,
heh... i love this thread. If you think about it, make 50 cents, and have to reply to 10 emails of support request... I don't think it would work out ![]() |
