You will NEVER find a host that will give you 1000gb space and b/w...if you even think you will need a fraction of that your better off getting a dedicated server

There was once a good thread about "Why overselling is bad" at WHT.
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=637399

Quote:
First off, there is a big difference between responsible overselling and massive overselling. Hardware has evolved to the point that a few gigs for under $10 MIGHT be ok, but when it gets into the double/triple digits, there is no way you'll ever be able to use it, nor is there any way the host would actually be able to provide it. So at that point, it becomes nothing more than a marketing gimic.

The REASON overselling is bad is that if people perceive that they have 100 Gigs of space, they will be inclined to use more of it. They will upload family videos, images, etc. that have nothing to do with their site content. They will install add-on domains, databases, etc. There is no logical reason for wanting to share a server with those types of accounts. It doesn't make any sense.

If you go with a host that offers a reasonable amount of space, you can rest easier knowing that the other accounts with whom you are sharing that server aren't uploading junk. The server is being used for its intended purpose, is not overloaded, and is much less likely to experience downtime or slowness.

I think it explains everything in a very neat and precise way.

Since your initial request was for ASP.net hosting you may check plans of either of the following hosts www.m6.net or www.jodohost.com.

Yes, you can use ASP on Windows only, though php can be used on both Linux and Windows.
My question is : if a host says he offers Windows.NET, as it's in the Sibername.com plans does it mean he offers ASP.NET?
